General

Ventilation with heat recovery unit.

Brink has developed a very efficient way to prevent the HRV from freezing in the winter-months. To reduce noise the blades of the ventilators are positioned so that air is pulled (instead of sucked as usual). Because this way of positioning the blades is sensible to pressure gradients (due to wind), the speed of ventilators is adjusted automatically. This automatically adjusting proved advantageous for the winter-situation. The freezing can be determined accurately and therefore the front-heater only is working when and as long it is necessary.
