In 2003, the local public-private partnership Hannoverimpuls was initiated for promotion and support in the creation, development and restructuring of SMEs in six key economic sectors in the region of Hanover, among which also the energy sector (Energy Solutions). In the framework of that sector is implemented also the ImpulsProgram Passive House, oriented towards assistance for SMEs, which apply the Passive House (PH) standard in the construction of new buildings in the Hanover region.
