Short description of Saint François Street project:
Saint François Street - 30-bed child care centre and three residences for persons with reduced mobility, fulfilling the passive criteria. Building insulation is ensured by a wooden façade and triple glazing. Heat production is centralised and provided via the ventilation, given the low heating needs, which result in a record consumption ranging from 7 to 13kWh/m2.yr. Rainwater recovery and use of solar panels for preheating domestic hot water contribute to reducing the consumption of water and energy.(2)
